About
GlyphBox started as a group chat between four friends who kept sending each other screenshots of whatever we were grinding that week. At some point we realized we were writing better notes to each other than most of the reviews we could find, so we turned it into a site. Nothing fancy, just people who actually finish the games they talk about.,We focus on RPGs and adventure titles, but we don't ignore a good racer or a clever strategy game when one shows up. The one rule is that someone on the team has to spend real time with a game before it gets a page here. No press-release rewrites, no five-minute impressions dressed up as reviews.,When we pick something to cover, we look at how the story holds up over a long session, whether the progression feels earned, and how the controls handle on a phone you're holding with one hand on the train. Ratings are our own opinion and we say so plainly.,We keep the site small on purpose. That way the person who wrote a review is the same person who actually played the thing, and you can email us and get a real answer back.
