Tavern Keeper Tales
★★★★☆ 4.1
Tavern Keeper Tales puts you behind the bar of a fantasy inn, taking orders from adventurers, brewing drinks, and slowly upgrading your little corner of the world. It's the classic cozy-sim loop, and it does it well. There's a gentle story running through it about the regulars who keep coming back.
The daily rhythm of prep, rush, and cleanup is satisfying, and upgrading the tavern gives you a steady sense of progress. Controls are all drag-and-drop and work fine on a smaller screen. It does get a touch repetitive after a few hours, which is why it lands where it does on our scale.
Still, as something to unwind with, it's lovely. The characters have personality and the whole thing has a warm, hand-drawn charm.
